A standalone building on Dubai Opera Plaza, two floors, and a team that runs the night with you. The mezzanine closes for your group while the ground floor stays open, or the whole restaurant becomes yours.

Exclusive use
Four hours, on a minimum spend quoted for your date.
Exclusive use of the mezzanine and a full buyout of the building both run on a minimum spend against food and drinks across four hours. What that figure is depends on the day of the week, whether you want the daytime or the evening, and whether you want the whole day — so we quote it for your date and your numbers rather than publish one number that would be wrong for most enquiries.
The clock starts when the space closes to the public, and set-up and break-down sit inside the four hours. Each extra hour is ten per cent of the minimum, and past closing time it doubles, until 03:00 at the latest. A small set-up done while the room is still open — a birthday table, flowers, twenty minutes — is not charged.
New Year's Eve is a full buyout of the whole venue only, on its own terms.

Tabbouleh, muhammara and foie gras tartlets; a crab éclair, stewed duck with mushrooms, crispy eggplant with kimchi, beef samosa and shrimp skewers; pistachio madeleines, lemon meringue tartlet and pavlova.

Truffle and black caviar tartlet, king crab tartlet, foie gras tartlet and a truffle cheese éclair; grilled octopus, black cod with Arabic curry, broccoli with oriental pesto, lamb pie and shrimp skewers; chocolate truffle, raspberry tartlet and pavlova.

Included, at no extra charge
A projector and screen, microphones and a DJ set. Any other AV is quoted per supplier.
Your own entertainment
Bring a DJ, a live band or performers — any entertainment may be brought into the venue. DM permits are paid separately by you.
Layout and decoration
With exclusive use or a buyout you can change the layout and dress the room. Both are quoted per request.
Florists, photographers, branding
Quoted per supplier. Branded signage needs an Emaar permit, so allow three weeks for it.

Holding the date
Four days, free, while you decide.
Prepayment
Fifty per cent confirms the booking and comes off the final bill. Larger events and full buyouts are also on a signed agreement.
Menu and numbers
Seven days before. We charge on the number you confirm or the number who arrive, whichever is higher.
Cancellation
Free thirty days out or more; fifty per cent between seven and twenty-nine days; inside seven days the full amount.
The room itself
An AD-featured dining room does a lot of the work.
Guests arrive somewhere that has already been photographed. The panelling, the checkered floor, the pleated coral lamps and the two-floor volume mean the venue needs very little dressing to read as an occasion.

Is there a private dining room at Bisou?
No, and we would rather tell you now than on the site visit. There is no separate room. The mezzanine floor closes exclusively for your group while the ground floor stays open, or you take the whole restaurant.
How much does it cost to take the mezzanine or the whole venue?
Both run on a minimum spend against food and drinks across four hours, and the figure depends on the day, the time and the length of the booking. Send the date and a rough headcount and you will have a number the same day.
Can we bring our own DJ or live band?
Yes. Any entertainment may be brought into the venue. DM permits are paid separately by you.
Can we change the layout and decorate the room?
With exclusive use or a full buyout, yes. Layout changes and decoration are quoted per request, and a projector, screen, microphones and a DJ set are included at no extra charge.
How far ahead do you need the menu and the numbers?
Seven days before the event. We charge on the number you confirm or the number who arrive, whichever is higher, so there is no argument on the night.
What confirms the booking?
Fifty per cent of the estimated bill, which comes off the final one. Larger events and full buyouts are also on a signed agreement.
