What it was
Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, in the room it was made for.
For five days in September the restaurant took the name Café Mademoiselle Crush Absolu and was given over to the CHANEL fragrance of the same name. It was open to the public, and it was the only address in Dubai hosting it.
The room did not need much dressing for it. The panelling, the checkered floor, the two-floor volume — the room already reads as a Parisian salon, which is why the activation sat here rather than in a pop-up box.
What was served
The Coco Mademoiselle menu all day, breakfast until four.
A special Coco Mademoiselle menu, created for the five days, was served from 10:00 and ran all day. Alongside it breakfast ran as it always does, from 09:00 to 16:00 — Turkish eggs, shakshuka, French toast, viennoiserie — and from late afternoon the à la carte dinner menu opened.
Every service was reserved, across all five days, and there was no entry charge at any point.
